What would you do in this situation Anons?

I am senior in HS and am taking an University level (AP) Political Studies course. My teacher seems like a good guy but he is very very left wing. He went on rants about Trump, loves Justin Trudeau, charlottesville, refugees, why America needs universal healthcare (im a leaf), how he likes higher taxes for social programs, how CNN is the best source and all the late night hosts he watches. So his ideas are pretty clear to me.

Issue is i dont agree with him on most of the things he is saying. Im not like /pol/ but i am pretty conservative and not 'pro refugee'. So on Friday we are writing a one page opinion paper on Hatian migrants illegally coming to Canada because the US wants to send them back to Haiti. I obviously dont think they should be allowed to come in randomly without applying. Thing im worried about is if I dont agree with his viewpoint my Grade will tank.

Im trying to get marks up for Uni so I need to do as well as possible. Should i just bite the bullet and agree with him in my paper? Or do you all really think if I offer smart arguments that are well sourced my marks are not going to get fucked?
