So up until the age of 10 this thing used to happen whereby the look of a place would switch. It's very hard to describe, but it's sort of like when you're looking at the world upside down, except the change was even greater, to the extent where I could get lost in my own house. Sometimes I could trigger the switch, merely by visualizing the 'other place', often that would also happen by whirling around really quickly.
Anyway this thing has annoyed me all my life because I've never met anyone who experienced this, nor do I know what it's called. Anyone know what I mean?
cool, sounds like u can look into other dimensions.
idk how to help you tho. meditation might help
You are simply peering into angular space. Nothing to worry about aside from the eldritch horrors that inhabit this space.

Maybe some medic specialized in perception changes or in things like the effect of psychedelics on the brain could know the name of this phenomena. Maybe even tour regular doctor.

Unfortunately it doesn't happen to be anymore, stopped when I was around 10. I want to join a Catholic monastery, so I have experience with contemplation, and also used to practice Tibetan Buddhist meditation, nonetheless I haven't been able to trigger the 'switch'
