I have a good life, with many friends, loving parents, a new career that saves lives, and multiple women I can sleep with. Despite this, I'm so depressed I can barely function.

It's for a dumb reason, too. GIRL PROBZ.

I can't get over my ex despite how toxic our relationship was. We were together for three years, then she cheated and lied, I cheated back. Unhealthy stuff! Even more unhealthy is what happens next!

She starts dating someone and tells me we shouldn't hook up anymore. A few months later, we start banging despite her relationship. Even though this relationship lasts a year.

History just repeated itself: She's been dating a guy for eight months, and has been fucking me about three times a month even though their relationship is "serious"

On Monday, she tells me she wants to stop hooking up with me and only wants to be with him, even though their relationship isn't going so well. I tell her that's okay and wish her luck, but then I make the dumb beta move of getting sappy about the past. We say we love each other, still want to be friends, and makeout, then part ways.

What the fuck am I doing? Part of me thinks I should permanently cut off all contact and RUN because this relationship is really fucking unhealthy, but another part wants to see if there's any way to salvage this, ending in a respectful and romantic relationship between us.

How would you guys go about it?
