sucks, but if you legitimately have bipolar a manic episode could be more damaging to your health than the depakote

I guess anyone with bipolar 1 is in a pretty tough spot

you might have success with lamictal, seroquel, and lithium as options

taken lithium before but the doc is really set on this stuff, im just scared of the potential effects on the body... i have to have my liver checked constantly and this is the highest mg ive ever taken for a med. just really all around scary stuff
xanax seems to be the most helpful for controlling manic episodes but it seems like a bandaid on a gunshot wound
would like to self medicate smoking pot because i hate big pharma and its been rather suscesful for 10 years but in the society we live in its not maintainable seeing that i have to drug test for employment and my current custody battle
im kinda just letting the doctor call the shots ya know?
