So I'm starting to work with a dog walking service app thing, basically uber for walking dogs. I think I'll make like $12-15 an hour, no idea yet. I only plan on doing this part time and not that much, if I'm available weekdays or free on the weekends. I saw some independent contractor shit in the terms and conditions and I know schedule C is for independent contractors but holy fuck does it take like all your fucking money in taxes. Is it even worth it to file if I make so little? Isn't there like a threshold that if you don't make a certain amount you're exempt from taxes or some shit? I highly doubt I'll make bank on the job, but just nice pocket cash. I doubt I'll make more than $2K out of the whole entire year of 2018, honestly who knows but I doubt it'll be that much. What should I do guys.
I don't know.
I'm a NEET and I've never worked.

Depends on where you live of course, but in most places yes. Where I live (Ontario) it's about 11K a year I believe.
I can't imagine you would pay income tax on 2K over the whole year. Look up local laws.
