(note: before friday i literally have had the worst sleep schedule. random sleepings and random wake up times.)
so last friday night i tried to sleep and couldnt. i slept for an hour saturday afternoon. didn't sleep saturday night. didn't sleep sunday night. come last night, where i tried sleeping without any electronics from 9 pm staying in bed. i did that for the entirety of 9 pm - 7 am, where i got up at 7 and wasnt sure if i even slept at all, due to memory loss. im sitting here today extremely exhausted, at lost at what to do. (note: last night i took melatonin both at the beignning of trying to sleep and at 12 am when i realized i hadnt fallen asleep. I also tried nyquil and melatonin sunday night.)(I also went to a walk and clinic and was told I couldn't be perscribed anything.)
You'll crash eventually. Sometimes you go through odd periods of restlessness.
Happened to me when I was stressed af a little while ago. Would lay in bed all night and "wake up" without ever falling asleep. I'd be super tired while at work or school when I was obligated to stay awake. Then when I'd come home and be free to sleep I would suddenly become restless.
I was just super stressed about work and school and as soon as things started to normalize and ease up I was able to fall asleep easier.
