Just forget. It will forever haunt you, the memory will always stay in your head and remind you of how shitty it is. I've been in more than one breakup where I felt incredibly shitty and I even cried once. However, better things come if you work for it and stay patient, as I'm now with a gf that I really love and we're getting married next year. You just have to learn to move on, yes I know it's hard but it's not impossible.
