I'm picking up a new laptop today for $599. But they have the 'Gaming ' version for an extra $300.
It has an i7, Nvidia 1050 4 GB and 12 GB of RAM.
Can't build a rig so it's no gaming for $600 or some games for $900.
Opinions?

look for the pc building thread

It's not a building question faggot.
It's an economics question.

Fine, but you would get more help there. 1050 is pretty meh. It can run 1080p, but not on ultra. The mobile version is probably underclocked. Either way you are cucking yourself gaming on a laptop.

Just find a video on youtube and learn how to build a rig and it cheaper. Unless you only want a laptop thats gonna be obsolete in 3 years

>obsolete in 3 years
my 2011 thinkpad is still performing fine and I can even play most modern games on low settings.

specs of 600$ and 900$
don't game on a laptop. if you build your own desktop you can easily spend less than $900 and have better specs than the gaming laptop. go to pcpartpicker and look at their builds that fit your price range, and customize it to how u want.
