I come from a family of alcoholics, and I think I am falling down the same road. How do I stop this trend? I have never thought of my personal drinking habits as they honestly feel normal when compared to the drinking habits of my family members.

Contact Al-Anon. It's the offshoot of AA for relatives and friends of alcoholics. There's a lot less of the quasi-religious stuff than in AA, just practical help and support with issues like yours.
