How can i convince my parents to let me buy a sleeping mask, one that trains you to breath through your nose while sleeping? I've been a mouth breather through my childhood and I still do sometimes. Am still in high school, so I still need to respect my parents' decisions. They do not believe mouth breathing is that big of a problem, and my orthodontist hasn't answered my questions about it.
I don't want to continue snoring or maybe get sleep apnoeia, do you think a CPAP mask will prevent these things, and if so, could you provide some trustable sources showing so?

Every post on here who talks about parents and shit always says that but people here aren't stupid. If you really are indeed 18 tell them you are buying it and they can suck it up. Find a job and move out if they have such a big problem with it. You're an adult now.
