How do i (17m) get more disciplined? Im so fucking lazy and my parents have always been very leniant.
>yale admissions pls go
Well, after you're b& you could join some activity that forces you to act with more discipline. It'll carry over to other parts of your life.
It's also more important to get used to doing stuff at certain times and places than being able to force yourself all the time. Get a specific place in your room to do homework, a certain time of night to do mountain climbers, whatever

Stop treating yourself as a slave. You dont have to do jack shit.
Do what you WANT to do. Lie on your bed and say: i am free man and i can lie like this whole day. Then realize that is stupid, ask yourself what you want to do today and simply do it.
Good luck!
Sports are great way to become disciplined but if you don't want to do that try doing something that forces you to stick to a regime

Man the fuck up.
I have bad habits I have trouble quitting so I'm probably not the best authority on this.
However, maybe you can set aside a few minutes each day to reflect and write down what you want out of life. It might ground you and remind you of what you're working for.

I like this answer though.
Community service, part time job, sports, any team related activity really.
And if you're really desperate, military school or the military in general can help. Though the latter is a rather extreme choice if you desire discipline.
