What is a good program to make laser cuttable vector images in? I cannont afford CorrelDraw. Is Inkscape worthwhile at all? What do you use, personally?
I need to laser cut some spray paint stencils. Thanks!

AutoCad, you can get a free license if you say you are a student.

How easy is it do make 2D SVGs in autocad? I'm trying to take a photo, strip it down to some outlines, then laser cut that as a template.

Can't you use a sharp x-acto knife to trace a stencil? How hard could that be?
