Long story short, I started talking to an ex because even though we'd fucked each other over at certain points, I'd always enjoyed her company. We seemed to hit it off pretty well; she's invited me to her house several times now and she'd expressed that she only desired to be friends so even though I've had plenty of opportunities I've been given no clear sign she's interested so I've not put any moves on her. At this point, we're just hanging out.
Anyways, I'm not sure why but she's become distant over the last couple days and anything I could think of to rectify the situation makes me feel like I'll come across as needy or selfish of her attention. I'm just not sure how to address the issue. Any tips would be appreciated.

Was in xact position. Just do what you were doing before her and get on with life.
If she wants to be friends she'll send you a text and if she doesn't text you well, you took a chance and now you know she's not interested.
In my personal case I just let my exes think themselves into a concusion and then they text me. If I try to understand their concusion journey I'll get dragged along with them and I don't know of any man who can out mental breakdown a woman.
So just do your thing and get on with life and when (if) she's ready you guys will have a chat ye.
