Tonight some frustrating shit went down and I punched a hole in my wall. Again. I've kicked in doors, broken my hand a couple times, and once threw a stool through my parents' window. I'm 31.

I'm generally a pretty calm person and have never thrown a real punch or item at another human, I direct my shit toward something inanimate so I don't get in trouble. But it's pretty much always my shit I'm breaking.

How do I stop this for good?

Follow up question actually... my dad has hurt my mom a couple of times (unintentionally or intentionally) and me, and I think I might have inherited this shit. I get worried one day I'll snap and beat a girl I'm with... so, uh, any tips on that?

Nah, I have my own house. Threw the stool through their window during a Thanksgiving when I was 24 and my mom was pounding my chest with her fists.
