So recently I ordered a pair of $60 earbuds that was delivered to my apartments management office (the delivery lockers haven't been installed yet). I left the apartment due to Hurricane Harvey right when they were delivered and when I came back a looter had ripped it open and stolen them (I assume anyway, they just told me it was opened with nothing in it).
Can I get reimbursed for this? I really don't want to have to buy new ones because the retarded fucking management couldn't put it in a secure location.

If you had to evacuate, management would have had to evacuate, so you can't exactly call then retarded. If anything, you're the retarded one for ordering something like that in the middle of a hurricane

I ordered it a week before, the shipping was pretty slow. It was probably when it was still a Tropical Storm if even.

Still doesn't mean you can blame management for it. You got unlucky, shit happens

Yeah I guess. They're probably not retarded. I just don't know why they didn't make the entire buildings packages more protected against looters.

Why the fuck would they? This isn't a common occurrence and it doesn't pose a risk to people's lives like fire or earthquakes

Haha some nigger is probably blasting music through them while they hang out of his ears on public transportation
