Plain and simple. I just want to forget, and leave this business to people who are brave enough to bear it; for I am done with love and this "sharing the same feeling" bullshit.
Serious replies more than appreciated. You can share your experiences if you feel like it ITT.
You introduce someone new to your life and wait to die.
There is no simple trick, just fucking accept you're gonna feel like shit.

Funny since it's my first time making a thread here. I don't know who you thought I was, but you surely are wrong.
Grab her mobile phone, delete everything, number, chats, vids, pics, backups, repeat with social media and everything else. Her suffering will make u feel good... If u r a narcissist...

It's rough ain't no doubt about that OP, as someone who went through a very nasty break up 2 months ago, I can tell you that's how I felt.. What you need to do to forget it be as active as possible, put yourself out there, do new things, socialise. The more you think about it the more miserable you become, time and being active will do the work. Other than that it's the usual block on social media, delete texts, chats, everything. Sadly there's no easy answer to that and it's completely personal how you deal with a break up, someone leaving you etc. but those are the known "remedies" if you will. But just because you've had a bad experience doesn't mean you should give up, OP. :)

I don't know. It's been a decade, yet it keeps happening. Seems like the more effort I put on, the stronger it hits the floor. Today should be our first month since we started dating, that must be a record.
What's worse is not that, but the fact that going into a relationship really affected our friendship (2 years) and that, if I end it all, it would mean never going to see her ever again. It hurts, I thought she would be the one, but as always, I was wrong.

You have a mental illness, go to a therapist. I'm not even being mean here.

Would it help? Not that I've never tried. I've had professional help before, but I couldn't rely my word on any psychologist I had throughout the years.
Maybe that was because I was still too young to understand that, but I don't know anymore. Maybe you're right.
