Anon, friendly reminder that you need to be over 18 to browse 4chan
>implying that someone actually reads the rules
Anyways, yes, you are a baby.
Now, for the actual tips: If you are a grown-ass man and are still afraid of ~spoopy ghosts~ then you may need to talk to a psychologist -no insult meant, you may have a problem and being scared of the dark may be a symptom of something bigger, like, say, anxiety.
>"Sleeping medication isn't an option"
It may be if the doc gives you greenlight, just saying.
Anyways, if you can't visit some doc because muh money or muh parents, then try to work your ass out: do some exercise, have a nice dinner, get a hobby, your body will be tired at the end of the day and you'll most likely fall asleep as soon as you touch the bed, spoopy scary ghosts or not.
>"But anon, I don't want to get my ass up and leave my computer"
Well, tought titties. Then try getting some dim lights or energy-saving ones so that you won't waste electricity, maybe get some fancy timer that turns 'em off after a certain time; Also, like >>18681839 said, try relaxing music.
>"But anon, I can't afford any of that"
Well, shit. Then maybe just draw a circle of salt around your bed, that should keep any ~spoopy scary~ at bay.
But, seriously, you should talk to someone: parents, doc, counselor...staying up until morning because of some (probably) non-existent issue won't make your body (or mind) any good and, again, may be a signal of something serious.
tl;dr:
>talk to a doc, they'll medicate you so you don't kill yerself slowly
>do some exercise, tire yourself, eat properly, GET TIRED. That way you'll get asleep without realizing it
>get some timed lights, energy-saving or some shit. Just saying.
>if anything else fails, do the salt circle thing and that should work just fine via actually keeping ~spoopy things~ at bay or act as a placebo
