I was on a strict calorie diet where I couldnt go over 1500 calories for about 2 months. Before starting, I was 190 pounds. I lost ~10 pounds within the first 3 weeks, which brought me down to 180 pounds. After that, however, I didn't drop or gain a single pound. I kept track for the next month, but nothing changed. I even exercised every other day, but that made no difference. I'm really confused about weight loss at this point and really discouraged to continue trying to improve my body. Anyone know what may have happened?

You have plateaued. Happens often enough.
From what I understand you need to change things up. Speak to a dietician or trainer for further advice.
Yeah after the first month you'll lose at of weight then you'll hit a rock. It may take a few months to see results again, worst thing you can do is lower your calorie intake. Trust me you'll start losing weight again, slowly, but hey you may not be losing weight because your body is becoming more strong with muscle build up, that is a good sign keep it up friend
Also 1500 is a little low for a man, your body may be in starvation mode which means you take more fat from foods. I suggest raising it to 1800-2000

Good ol' booger sugar will help you cross the plateau.
