Over 10 years ago when I was a stupid kid in elementary school I stole a book that was lying around to look cool in front of people that didn't even ask me to. I was deeply ashamed for a while back then, but I forgot about it. I just remembered and it's keeping me up tonight. It had the owner's signature (not sure if full name) and I've been thinking if I could see if I could find a way to return it to whoever it belongs to even though they're in another city. Am I being stupid? How do I get over what I've done?
If someone stole your book, how long would it take for you to get over it? Probably less than 10 years right? Let it go, the victim already has.

What can I do with the book? It has been collecting dust for over a decade.

Donate it, bin it, read it, cum in it, throw it over your neighbors fence

True
Unless you stole something monetarily valuable like a car or painting or some shit, or emotionally valuable like a wedding ring, they have completely forgotten about it.
