I just recently start drinking for real and noticed that often the whole day after getting moderately drunk I have a really hazy feeling and everything seems to 'have the volume turned down' even if I didn't have a headache and woke up feeling totally fresh otherwise.
Is this normal? Am I describing a mild hangover or is there a different word for it? It's not unpleasant, just makes me less focused.

Broooo, I've been having the same problem. I have no advice but as it has been happening recently also
seems normal to me, alcohol probably doesn't leave your system that quickly

Why would you want to become alcoholic?

Alcohol acts as a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, meaning that once dopamine gets released it'll hand around in the synapse longer. It gets burned up and your body has to produce more. You are operating on a deficit of a neurotransmitter. And it should be unpleasant because it literally makes you less capable.

Yeah, it's perfectly normal. You can start worrying if you ever do get hangovers with headaches and throwing up, that's a sign you drink too much. Being tired and unfocused is the norm.
