How do I get people to respect opinion?

Three basic rules
1. Have facts to back up your opinions.
2. Respect the people you're talking with even if you disagree with what they're saying. The first person to insult the other has lost.
3. Know which fights to fight and which to let go. The second group cover 90%of cases. Most people chat and even debate just to fill up time and enjoy each other's company. They don't WANT to get into serious debate. So a "Well, anyway, that's what I think, but let's talka bout something else" will gain you more respect than fighting to the death every time.

Stop caring if they respect it or not. Just express yourself and don't give a fuck or be needy for their approval. The fact that you shared your opinion should be gods gift to them. If they don't give a shit, stop sharing your opinions to them and they can fuck off.
