Here's the dilemma boys
>be me
>be military fag
>in 6 months will be stationed in Germany for 2 years
>super excited about this, have wanted to go to Europe since I joined and Germany in particular is known as one of the best places you can be stationed in the military
>but also want to change jobs to cyber warfare operations(basically hacking)
>this would not only be far more interesting to me than my current job(tl;dr electronics maintenance) but is an easy ticket to a six-figure job in the civilian sector
>but in doing so I would lose my Germany assignment
>and get stationed in Texas, as that's where cyber operations are based
>I hate Texas
>also would have to extend my enlistment which I'm not crazy about doing
>but, $$$
What do you think?
there is no easy ticket, whatever anyone would have you believe. personally, I would go for the experience of living abroad. it's not like you'd be wasting your time and you could hone your computer skills there too.
