Would flying an Irish flag be likely to get you beaten up or cause offense in Northern Ireland? If it was the Republic I'd have no worries, but I don't want to be seen as being on one side of the fence or the other.

Depends on which part of the North you are in? If you are in a unionist area with the Tri Colour you might get physically attacked.
