hinking about changing uni majors next year, looking at going into Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Science (major in Software Technology). Leaning toward doing the major in software technology but i'm not that good at maths. So my question is if i was to do the major in Software Technology is maths a major part and if so can it easily be learnt? Also what's the main difference between the 2 Bachelor degrees? And what do you think i should take
IT if you're weak in math.
But generally both major are not math intensive. People often mistaken that you'll be learning how to do the calculations but its not, you actually learn how to make the machine calculates. Its a big difference.

Do you touch on any programming in IT tho just the thought of programming intrigues me

Yes, you can't avoid programming in both majors and it can get pretty heavy.
Just so you know, both major are mostly interchangeable when you're looking for work.

So i should just change into IT? Thanks for the info anon

Basically they're interchangeable but on the high level(high paying) IT is leaning towards hardware based jobs and the other leaning towards software jobs. Up to you on where do you want to go.
But if you're weak at math, I'd suggest IT.
