I need help settling an old debate on what was creepier: a 17 year old guy making out with a 14 year old girl that's still technically in middle school, or a 19 year old guy getting into a relationship and having sex with a 14 year old girl that's a freshman in high school.
Neither are on the level, but I feel like this answer is clear. This happened 10 years ago, btw, so now all parties involved are adults.

i don't know where you're from but that second one is statutory in most places so i think that's your answer. more years apart = creepier in almost all cases. use that as a general rule of thumb.

Cool. I'm OP and this validates my position. My asshole "friend" went off on a rant in a group text full of people about how I am a huge scumbag for preying on young girls because I made out at a party with a girl that was coming out of middle school while pleasantly ignoring that he's two years older than me and dated and fucked a girl five years younger just months later.
Why he brings it up when we're long out of high school, I don't know.

dude if you wanted to you could file a complaint and by law many states would have to take him to court if he fucked a 14 year old when he was 19. i actually don't know of any state that would be OK in. bring something like that up and he might change his tune lmao
