I'm a 19 year old desperate for a job, so when I saw an application my friend gave me at college I gave it a look. it was a stay at home job that gave me $710 dollars to buy the software needed. I needed to print out the check. However after depositing it, the company took back the money, and I had to pay a charge back fee. The locker is they took twice as much since I only had 200 in my account and now I have to pay the bank $500.
I called the company and the internship I applied for doesn't exist, mid are they affiliated with any colleges.
tl;dr
what do I do?
How are people like you getting into college

Talk to your bank and the police
The police probably won't do much but that's standard
Collect all evidence you have of the experience
