I woke up in a cold sweat, just now. Had a dream about a girl I used to date 10 years ago. Why the fuck do I still think about her?

She was really attractive back then, but I've moved on. I've fucked women that were just as, or arguably more attractive than her since, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, I'm in a relationship now!

Once I woke up, I googled her, because I hadn't actually seen or heard from her in a decade. She's gotten really fat and moved back to our hometown. I just don't get it. Why is my brain fixated on this failed-Stacey from a decade ago?!?!
