Never give up, never compromise, never settle. There have been people whom have gotten out of worse compared to what you currently have, work towards better things and don't let your surroundings overwhelm you.

Get out of your marriage, if you're a woman than you're guaranteed to succeed. If you can't afford the process, get legal help provided by the state, reevaluate yourself and your friends so things like that don't happen anymore. Figure out a way to become independent financially and find a roommate that you can live with. It's going to take a while, but killing yourself won't fix anything.

Ive seen a lot of bullshit on adv people are going through, but i can tell you with absolutely consequendes the social life (husband and best friend) youve found yourself in is more extreme than anything ive *actually* witnessed in real life (and i know a lot of people and ive been in an abusive relationship) so i can fully, confidently guarantee you with conviction, you can find better people. Theyre everywhere.

Start by doing everything in your power to get away from this entire group. Move, meet new people, whatever.

I've gotten rid of the 'friend' but I know every one of my colleagues has seen it. My husband may have cheated by I don't see him as bad, honestly, it's just disappointing to know that he'd prefer someone else's body to his wife. Regarding the meeting new people, I'm in the process of breaking out of my shut-in shell and learning how to meet new people and stuff which is fully encouraged by my husband, who is glad that we're both making progress.
