So for a couple of years I've had ED. Occasionally I'll get an erection, but it's not consistent and is more of a semi, and I've had to turn girls down when I'd like to take them home, knowing I probably won't perform. I know I fap too much, but the last time I did nofap, nothing changed, and I eventually end up needing the release with no girl around.
I guess what I'm saying is, how do I approach this with my doctor, and what will they do? Will they give a 30 year old viagra or something else, or will this take a bunch of visits and attempts at other things before they're convinced?

Did you try other stuff like ginseng, cardio, l-arginin?

"I have trouble getting it up"

You may find this hard to believe, but they'll probably try to work out what causes your problem based on medical training and experience, and then try to remedy that.

Not really, no. I guess I could look into some of that stuff. I don't really have the time to work out.

I get that, but I don't have the time for them to need me to come in for multiple visits, or tell me to do things that lump in with other stuff, like to work out or stop drinking. If that's the only advice I'm going to get from them, I may as well not bring it up at all. I'm just wondering what the quickest route to fixing it is.

The quickest route is not necessarily the best. Medical problems require medical attention, it's as simple as that. You can buy viagra online and 'fix' your symptoms, but the problem will likely persist. To be fair, it's also entirely possible that the problem itself can't be fixed and viagra is the only option, but you need to let a doctor decide that.
>but I don't have the time
Then either make time, stock up on viagra, or accept a life of celibacy.

I was probably being more obtuse than I meant to be. It's not that I don't want to solve the problem, but that I can't get the time off of work to take multiple visits to the doctor to be worried about my boner. If I walk in and they can say 'anon you have a cardiovascular issue and that will fix it if you work out,' I'll make the time to work out.
I guess I'm just wondering how long a diagnosis takes.

Well order some l-arginin or l-citrullin (your body converts it to arginin, heard it works better than arginin). It's an amino acid, basically a protein. It's extremely good for blood circulation, stuff made me walk around with a semi all day.
Also take a look into ED forums, yes this exists. They have a lot of experience with stuff you can try at home before going to a doc.
