Could be a learned behaviour... Watching too much porn, thinking too much about sex, all that releases hormones related to it, and your body can learn to release them more often as if 'needed'.

The good thing is that it can actually learn to release it less and less, to a more healthy point.


ON ANOTHER TAKE:
Sexual energy is a very active energy, it demands action. You can direct it somewhere else too - when you get horny, go do something that requires focus or is physical (exp. meditation, working on a project, writing/jogging, playing basketball).
