The house I live in is being sold come January. The company I work for is also moving business elsewhere. In the same month. I may still be able to work there. If not, I will have to figure that part out later.
My main concern for the time being is a living situation. After looking at the prices of living spaces, I got an idea, and I can't be the first to have had it.
What is the feasibility of not having a living space at all? I can imagine saving about a grand each month.
To accomplish this,
>I could do my showering at the gym.
>Get an PO box for my mail. I suppose banks are the only ones that’d have issue with that.
>Lots of places to potentially rest my head, some safer than others. I own a car I could do my sleeping in.
>As for food, I have all the necessary utilities to cook my food at my place of employment, including a fridge. I can even use my desk space for personal business and even gaming after hours. The boss wouldn't mind. I have all the security credentials to come and go as I please, and I've done so on many a weekend in order to study.
>As for all the shit I own, I could just rent a storage unit.
It’s a crazy idea, but one I keep chewing on. Convincing my family that I want to do my own thing is going to be the tough part.
Thoughts? What does /adv/ think of such a lifestyle choice? Have any of you considered a classier form of homelessness?

Dude you just said your place of work isnt reliable. Do not do this if your planning on figuring it out as you go you will be trapped in a homelessness cycle. Rent a cheap room and start looking for more feasible solutions
