>probably getting cucked as well, if I had to guess

Its not that bad, I love animals aswell.
>>
>>18643488
Is it litter trained? Is it a fragile little fuck or is it jumping around and chasing imaginary targets?

Been awhile since I had a kitten.
>>
>>18643501
Yes, it loves playing with me and explores the room always

>dog is man's best friend
>cat is a proxy animal that accidently got domesticated, but doesn't give a shit about humans
Should've went with the doggo anon
>>
I've read that kittens need another kitten or at least another cat around when they're growing up in order to be well socialized.

You shouldn't just jump into pet ownership without doing research...

If it's litter trained then you've done the hardest part. Honestly taking care of the shit box is the hardest part. Get the litter that solidifies their piss so you can scoop it out with the shit. If you get the budget litter that just soaks up piss it starts to smell like ammonia after a week and half.

Kittens have the attention span of an autistic 10 year old at a carnival. When it gets older it'll stop jumping around and running around and instead spend 94% of it's day sleeping, 1% eating, and 5% waiting for you to stop bothering it so it can go back to sleep so enjoy it being active.

If it's a male it might be grumpy and get aggressive when older so chop its balls off to show it who is boss and to reduce the liklihood he'll scratch you later on. If it's a female get it spayed at some point unless you plan to *never* let it go outside.

Litter train isn't the hardest part, give it a litter box and let the little bastard play in it and they'll piss in it by instinct, hardest part is trying to teach it not to jump on tables and scratch stuff
>>
>>18643514
oh damn, it was kind of a suprise for me actually..

Well, I guess I need to make the best of it.

>>18643536
Yes, it shits in the box, but sometimes he pisses on the ground. I dont mind cleaning it off, but I still need to train to piss it there.

I kind of feel bad when I have to castrate him to be honest.

>When it gets older
How old?
>>
>>18643488
Where do I fucking start?
A KITTEN HAS TO (HAS TO!!!) STAY WITH ITS MOTHER TILL IT IS TWO-THREE MONTH OLD YOU FUCKING IDIOT HOLY SHIT!

Your cat will grow up unsocialised and has not learned all the basic cat behaviour from its mother.

>>When it gets older
>How old?
Also adding: A female cat should be castrated after she reaches sexual maturity, meaning: if you see her walk around and meow like crazy and she gets really clingy it's time for her. This can start from her being 4 months old.

For a male cat the same: If he starts showing sexual behaviour he has to get neutered. A male cat will start pissing in your home to mark his territory, if you do not let him get neutured he might never get rid of that behaviour when he grows up. So either you wait till he starts that or you go to the vet around 4-7 months.

Im sorry man, it was not my decision. My gf was like "omg look at this fucking kitten isnt it so cute lets raise him together"

I dunno how I could convince her giving it back for 2 months.

But he is playing, acting like a normal cat I dont really see anything wrong with him yet

>>18644032
Oh shit that hurts
>>
pick it up everyday at least once so he gets used to that
