So im having sex with my first gf(im 19 shes 18) this week. We are both virgins and she's on birth control, do i still need to use a condom? If so, why?

Don't bother unless you really are sure you don't want a pregnancy.
Just pull out like humanity has been doing since time immemorial

I would still use a condom, to be on the safe side. First of all, you cannot be 100% sure that this girl is a virgin. I'm not saying she would lie to you, and odds are, she's being honest. But I've met plenty of girls who have claimed they were virgins, only to find out that it probably isn't the case.
Not to mention, birth control is not fool-proof. While it's by far the most effective form of contraceptive, there is still a small chance she could get pregnant, especially if she isn't taking the pill regularly, etc.
In general, I'd say if it's the first time and all, use a condom. I haven't had sex a bunch, but it was easier not to have to worry about anything during my first time.

extra protection for certain disconnection.

Birth control pills aren't at all the most effective method, there are a few more effective ones such as IUDs and the arm implant.
However they are still effective if taken exactly as directed. A lot of people don't, though. And even then it's not perfect. Condoms are probably worth it.

That is correct, my apologies. I meant birth control in general (so like pills, the arm-implant-thingy, etc.), but you are correct that pills themselves are not the most effective form of contraceptive. Either way, it's just better to be on the safe side.
