I almost killed myself at the beginning of the year, anon. Don't do it. Tell your family or friends how you're feeling. Seek treatment.

It'll always be a part of you, but it doesn't have to be dominant. You can fight this, but it's almost impossible to do it alone.

Everything may be objectively meaningless, but the social rituals and bullshit and cycles and rules are just kind of there and we have to deal. Seek enjoyment in the things you like, whether it's work, art, watching tv, porn, it doesn't fuckin matter. You can find a way to make it all work if you reach out and try to create a support network.

Someone does care. Someone will miss you. Someone can help.

You father must have done a shit job raising you; as a result, you have no pride in your family, and no worthwhile lineage to continue. Therefore, while suicide is not necessarily the best option, the people saying you shouldn't do it for the sake of your family are bullshitting.

I already know that there will be two types of people who will disagree with this post:

Is the only rational answer to live in a logical world. The world is a cold place, where nothing ultimately matters. Even if you have all of the answers, and the power to change it all, in the end, it makes no difference. We have no purpose, there is no purpose, and beyond the superficial and our own instinct, we have nothing.

There's a reason why Jerry is considered one of the happiest characters in the show. He never sweats the details. He's so stupid, that he can find an infinite number of ways to enjoy himself in the messed up world of Rick and Morty. It's half the reason why Rick hates Jerry. At the end of the day, as intelligent as Rick is, he can't turn it off. It's why he's always drunk.
