Can anyone here help me figure out if I'm going to have to pay for being uninsured for six months? So the deal is, I left my job and insurance in December. My new job started in January and took 90 days to start up insurance for me. But I ended up leaving the job after six weeks and never got insurance. So my annual income was like $4000 for the year and since I was in debt, I could not afford insurance. That would get me the exemption, but...

My new job that I started in July pays just under 100k, so now my annual income is going to come out looking like $50k, even though I was dead ass broke for six months. How do I get this waived?
