Struggling with this myself. I wish I could offer some type of advice but twelve years later it still fucks me up. I have a hard time maintaining relationships, and I am a bitter asshole. It started me down the road of substance abuse. I never got closure or anything to make myself feel better about the situation. I tried counseling but that never seemed to help.
