I am not worried about 'my presence' continuing as much as developing a strong bond with my children. I am aiming to feel accomplished when I am ~80 and knowing my offspring through their lifetime is quite important in that respect. Also, my current relatives live too far apart for a close familial connection to occur outside of technological means.

I am certainly accomplished at this point, and I am not currently lonely in any means other than in future planning. Specifically, I am sober in my actions and am only looking for a prime opportunity for a valid mate in the coming years. I am concerning myself with 4-8 years in the future in the scenarios above.

That is a shame, since I certainly do not want my children to feel isolated. I do feel that a woman should take four years off work if the family can afford it per child minimum. Daycare leaves children feeling like they do not know their parents. Fortunately, when I get my professorship I can take sabbatical to have a stronger bond with my children.

If you want some good advice, then listen to me : Marry someone who loves you for a long term, someone hot who can please you sexually and mature enough to deal household issues. This is like asking for a shy and bashful wife who is outgoing and has lots of friends.
There are too many conflicting traits in your ideal wife. Why would a woman work hard to get a good education when her gameplan is to have kids and spend 4 years out of work to take care of them and then be utterly unhireable because of it?

Eh, this is a tall order. Like >>18631463 says, it's kind of hard to get a professionally minded woman who's willing to hang it up for a family. And then, accomplishment is hardly the whole picture: There's personality, worldview, character traits, logistics, family, and objectives.

Not impossible though. You'll have to just develop your people skills so that you can engage with any interesting woman you come across.

Apart from that though, I say just go to church. Modern Christianity's all about family values, and sobriety is what the culture tries to teach young people (with varying degrees of success). But depending on the church/denominations, you're bound to find a nice family-oriented girl that isn't a sack of bricks on the intelligence department. Finding a highly accomplished professional though? Well, again: rare, but not necessarily impossible.

Last option is to relocate to another culture where family values still matter.
