So I'm being pressured into joining the military by my family. I've been out of work for a few months and haven't tried getting back into college, though I know I have to do something. Family can't help with college so they started recommending I go military to get it taken care of, and then it snowballed to now where they are pressuring me to get in heavily.
I have no real desire to do so but benefits seem okay. I'm no pushover but I'm a bit apathetic and don't take well to people telling me what to do. I'd also choose prison time over being shipped over seas, I refuse to fight in a war. Wat do?

If you refuse to fight in war then don't join the military. It is the one organization that is tasked with fighting war, so if you don't want to fight just avoid joining up with that organization.
