Do you stand with proper posture and sit with back support? Do you sleep with only one thin pillow? Not doing any of these things can cause back problems.

Try correcting your posture first. Eliminate slouching whenever possible. Lift up your computer monitor so it's at eye level, sit up straight, make it so you don't have to hunch over your work.
