Maybe, apply and find out. Most Physics courses only touch on Astrophysics in the UK. I imagine an Astro PhD will just be fucking loads of maths and programming anyway. My 2 cents is don't bother Astro is boring as fuckkkkkk

Anyone can get into any grad program if you impress them enough and make a good case for yourself. Much will depend on your statement, which must explain why you are moving fields and what you think your background will bring to the field
