Am I stupid for switching out of something I find boring but will get me a job(mech engineering at a top school) for something I find more interesting but a longer path (ER nurse --> ER physician assistant)

I never really had a solid plan taking classes at the Junior College, I just took math and science classes and decided it was time for me to leave finally this year...then I realized how much I would despise this path.

Do PA, bro. Im an ED tech and im going for ER Nursing. PA is the comfier life, but nursing is more about patients.
