Hoenstly, you said it. It's not /avoiding/ sex. Just don't do it every time you hang out, as an activity.. It's not fun. You probably go to someone's house, talk for a bit, hang out, have sex, watch something and then leave.
Go out on a damned date. DO something. Sex without context, or for the sake of getting off, is always shitty.
You have to actually have an attraction, or it's just masturbating with another body.
