Becoming more confident

I'll give you the same advice I give other people. Give yourself something to be confident about. Maybe it's your looks. Maybe a hobby/talent. Maybe your job. Who knows. But you gotta give yourself something to be confident about otherwise the false confidence will only take you so far, possibly less far than where you are right now.

I can sing/draw.
No matter what I try, at the end of the day, I still feel like a piece of shit that doesn't deserve anything.

Then you gotta figure out the source of why you feel that way and work on it.

you don't become more confident in your self until you do it despite the feat of failure and rejections. once you experience that you begin to realize it literally has no effect on your life and become confident in the fact that even if you do fail it doesn't matter.
