My mom is dying, she was diagnosed with als. As her oldest son i really failed her, she wont get to be a grandmother but maybe that dosen't matter. Im close to 30 and still live with my family but thats fine im basiclly the the breadwinner now since my dad can bearly keep up with midical bills. Im taking care of the house. She is so weak now, it hurts seeing her, i never thought it would come to this. I dont even know what im asking.

Look into a hospice. Expert and sympathetic people will make sure she is respected, cared for and kept painfree and you can visit as much as you want. If you're in the US, Medicare should pay for it.

my friend was all over the news locally for being a bad cop. his mom was walking with him to court on tv. she died within months. HE failed his mom.
