Was talking in a voice chat with some people all night. Only had the balls to do it because I was drunk. I had a lot of fun though. I had this idea in my head that every time I would speak, I'd just get told to shut up (This used to happen with some people I used to hang around with when I was younger) and was honestly surprised when they didn't, they even reacted to things I said without scorn but with genuine answers. It felt really good, it reminded me I'm not below anyone, I'm just a human like everyone else.
How do I get more confident at talking in conversations and stuff? I'd love to do this more often but I don't want to become an alcoholic.
You literally just force yourself to do it over and over again until it gets easier. If anxiety is an issue I would suggest learning some deep breathing exercises and to regulate your pulse.

It just gets bad again after like a week of not talking to people though. It's been like this for a long time.
