Have made a few poor decisions in life overall and am now a 21 year old virgin NEET. I feel I have squandered every opportunity in life by dicking around and now I'm left with a shitty resume and no college degree. Assumed I wouldn't need to further my education because I wanted to get into writing and filmmaking, but I've never done anything to get into either of those.

I just want to not be a jobless hermit/virgin for too much longer, but I don't know how to have the drive to do anything. I don't write everyday, don't exercise, don't go outside(unless it's to drink), barely make time to actually watch/study films. What should I do?

either do it, or don't. there is no magical third option that motivates you. Lets be real, if you don't have the 'drive' to do something as simple as watching films, you don't have the drive to do something else that will give you the motivation to watch films.

we've had this EXACT conversation before, and no there have not been any break throughs in psychology since then.
