>living in big city, have no friends
>very grown up analytical personality from education and general work life, but just want cute fun friends
>don't have anything to offer to people other than being good looking and having a lot of money from my very serious job that most people would not be interested in in the slightest
>everyone tells me I have to lower my standards at first and build a big social network before meeting great people but it feels too late to start doing this at my age (26) when my only social contacts are my colleagues in their 30s-40s.
I'd meet people through my hobbies (2d shit) but the average person is a complete autist so meeting people randomly off the internet doesn't work. The non-autists have their closed off cliques they formed years ago
At this point should I just give up and pay people to pretend to be my friend and hope at some point they take pity on me and hang out with me without paying? Other option would be using money to gain popularity on social media..
srsly I don't know what to do
