probably a bad memory block on one of you ram sticks. try reaseating all you ram if that doesn't work try going down to one stick you can ( if you have more than one) keep changing the one if one works then try adding one more(if you had 4 sticks) keep testing all your ram until your confident you found the problem stick then replace it. Alternative if you only have one stick of ram you need to replace it. I 've worked on computers for a long time and ram is the usually the issue, i recommend a good brand next time Kingston is middle of the price curve but extremely high in quality.

yes its a possibility that they are not seated correctly but unlikely, the more probable thing is that one stick is bad, let me guess your computer works fine for a while and always has issues around same time until you use x amount of ram, try opening task maneger and other programs and try figuring out when you pc throws blue screen, say it throws it when you using 6.2 gig in your 4x2 gig setup you now know your third stick has a bad memory block

My old computer used to bluescreen a lot like that because a piece of hardware kept overheating for some stupid reason. God that computer sucked.
