How do I get a good job? Like 550k a year or something.
You don't.
Most of those jobs are strictly internally controlled.
You can get into the 100k as a specialist in a field, but that's about it.

What the fuck are you smoking?
>Consulting
>Investment banking
>Portfolio management
>Financal advisor
>VP at large company
>Literally any executive job at established company
You can get 50k-100k jobs out of college, but those jobs are just short-term gratification imo.
Everything I listed you can get, it just takes 10-20-30 years.
Otherwise, start a company or strike it rich in Crypto.

>i am underage and im gona be rich!
First get a real degree.
Second get some experience. Unless you go to an IV league or have/make connections you won't get out of college offers. Finance internships are going to Wharton and Harvard boys so you'll have to do some shit work or luck out first.
Most people working now 40+ view degrees as merely proof you're not retardrd and it is true. I worked as a clerk for a year and came to realize people who worked for 10 years knew more about the industry than could be found in any textbook. Technology renders a lot of math skills redundant. And a genius who can't communicate ideas is useless. After a year I was able to land a job at 80k/yr. Not 500k/yr but I'm not bitching for being in my late 20's

How do I do any of those jobs? Can I just like produce music or grow weed or something?

>Most of those jobs are strictly internally controlled.
You don't read much, do you.
Sure if you outlive the other guy, or get lucky, you can absolutely get the job.
The chances definitely aren't in your favor, though.

There is only one way.
Start close to the bottom
Be very, very, very good at what you do
Get promoted quickly
....unless, of course, you're Donald Trump's son

but those are my hobbies and all i know

You can make 500k without being an executive if you work in finance.

Become a stock broker in New York.
>>18603769
Open an online casino

You have to own a company to get that much.
Invest in a successful business model and copy it, while adapting to your unique model. That's basically how a successful new company starts.

Nope. Senior software engineers (or more likely, system architects) in SF or quantitative analysts and developers in NY/HK can often make over 300k.
>>18604377
It takes 15+ years to get to that stage.

If you're into art, create a brand with cute mascots. Print that shit on shirts and stickers and stationary and plushies.
Think Hello Kitty or Tokidoki.

Becoming a quant takes from five to eight years of studying then two or three of actual work experience to start making money.
I'm just gonna work shit jobs and go through the motions until my parents die.
They're not rich, but whatever they leave me I should be able to get a year or two of NEET life out of it, which is a godsend as an adult.

The fact you think you can just "get" one of these 500,000 jobs, and the idea that you wouldn't be satisfied with a 100,000-200,000 salary job is completely ridiculous, probably the most ridiculous thing I have seen on /adv/ in weeks.
