Pirate rosetta stone.

I've heard Rosetta stone is not that good for learning to be able to hold a conversation, I'm looking for a way to be able to fully learn the language over a long time if it takes that
Play dota 2.
On a serious note maybe interpals.

Learn the basics then go there and live there for a year, you'll pick it up a lot faster.

Honestly, there might be better things to do. Learning a language is a huge investment of time, and you might never really use it.
I learned French, and I spent one of my holidays in Paris. Yay. Aside from that, I almost never used it outside of class.
Russia is poor. You probably won't live there, and you probably won't work in one of their companies. Better learn a significant language if you want to learn.
Or instead of learning a useless language you could learn to cook, or programming, or get a six pack, etc.

ease yourself into the language by using the Doulingo app.

Does that app really work?

Just as a heads up it's one of the more difficult languages. I took it all through middle school and a year in high school and never truly grasped it.
